Birthday rap song example: a verse about Mom

A mother and her adult son, AI-generated and made with MigosAI from two portraits: HD, 10 seconds, 9:16, lyrics topic "mom's Sunday cooking".

This verse is about a mom's Sunday cooking rather than a birthday, but it is how a birthday tribute works: one specific, loving detail becomes the whole song. Write "Mom turns 60, still makes the best lasagna" and the AI builds the rhymes around her.

A birthday rap song that is actually about them

Generic birthday songs fit anyone, which is why nobody remembers them. A good birthday rap names the person and one thing that belongs only to them: the way Dad narrates every road trip, Grandma's unbeaten card-game streak. Give the AI that detail in the lyrics topic and it writes a fresh verse around it, two or three tight lines for a 5 to 10 second clip.

Then two people perform it. Often that is the guest of honor next to someone who loves them, so the song becomes a toast you can replay: at the dinner, in the family chat, at a milestone party years later. The two example cards below come from family photos of AI-generated people.

A grandmother and her adult grandson in party hats doing a birthday rap toast, he holds a cake with lit candles
  • AI-generated portrait of the grandfather, placed in the leadAI-generated portrait of the grandmother

    Grandparents, from one dinner photo

Made from a single family dinner photo split into two frames. Standard quality, 8 seconds, 1:1, with the lyrics topic "our 50th anniversary".

  • AI-generated portrait of the father, placed in the leadAI-generated portrait of his daughter

    Dad and daughter, road-trip verse

Inputs: a portrait of each of them. Settings: HD, 10 seconds, 9:16, lyrics topic "road trips with dad". Put a birthday in that topic and it becomes his song.

How to write and perform a birthday rap in three steps

Have one detail about the birthday person in mind and two photos at hand. A browser and a Google sign-in cover the rest.

  1. Choose the performers

Usually the guest of honor plus a family member or friend. Upload one portrait each, or one photo with both of them, framed face by face.

  2. Give the verse its story

Write the lyrics topic in under 80 characters: a name, an age if you like, and one detail. "Nana's 85th, undefeated at rummy" is plenty.

  3. Preview and render the song

A free booth photo shows the pair on stage. Generate the video and download it in time for the toast.

What shapes the birthday verse

Only the two faces are required. These options decide what the song says and how it looks.

  • Who raps the lead

The lead performer raps with the closest lip sync; the second backs them up with ad-libs and gestures. Let the guest of honor take the lead, or have someone rap to them. Place the lead left or right.

  • What the verse is about

The lyrics topic, under 80 characters, gives the AI the name and the story. A note per performer of up to 120 characters sets the mood, such as "raises a glass" or "proud, hand on heart".

  • Quality, length, format

Standard: up to 720p, 1 credit per second. HD: up to 1080p, 2 credits per second. Lengths are 5, 8 or 10 seconds, and 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9 all cost the same.

  • Background

Use the orange studio, or the background from the lead's photo, like the kitchen or porch the whole family knows.

Four ways to use a birthday rap

  • A toast at the dinner table

Play it on a phone or the TV before the cake, instead of one more round of the usual song.

  • Milestone birthdays

A 30th, 60th or 90th deserves its own lyrics. Put the number and one memory in the topic.

  • Grandkids and grandparents

Put grandma in the lead and the grandkid beside her, and the family gets a duet they will replay at every reunion.

  • When you can't be there

Missing the party? Send a verse with your face in it, standing next to the person you are celebrating.

Is the birthday rap song free? What the video costs

The preview is free: 3 booth photos per account, and a failed one is not counted. Turning the verse into a video costs credits based on quality and length, 8 credits for 8 seconds on Standard, 16 credits for 8 seconds in HD, or 20 credits for 10 seconds in HD. The Duo Pack is 40 credits for $9.90 and never expires, and credits for a failed render are returned automatically. Payment goes through our merchant of record, Waffo Pancake or Creem, which resells the service and takes care of tax and invoicing. See packs and plans

Birthday rap song FAQ

Information checked October 3, 2026.

Will the song include the birthday person's name?

If you put it in the lyrics topic, the AI writes the verse around it. It is told not to invent facts you did not give it, so add the name and one true story rather than leaving it to guess.

How long is the birthday rap?

As long as the clip: 5, 8 or 10 seconds, which is two or three lines. Think of it as a toast with rhymes, not a full track.

Is it original, or a remix of the usual birthday tune?

Original. The lyrics and the audio are generated fresh for each video, and the AI is told not to quote or imitate existing songs.

Can I get the song without the video?

No. The result is an MP4 of the two performers rapping the verse, with no watermark. It plays anywhere a video plays, from a family chat to a TV.

Can I try it before I pay?

Yes. Each account gets 3 free booth photos showing both performers on stage. The video starts at 5 credits for 5 seconds on Standard, and the price is shown before you render.

Will an old photo of the birthday person work?

Usually, yes. Any clear, front-facing photo works, including a scanned album print. A face that is small in the original gives a weaker result, so crop tightly or pick a portrait.

Do I need permission to use their photo?

Yes. Both people in the video have to be fine with it, family included.
