AI rapper example: dad takes the lead

A father and daughter, made with MigosAI from two AI-generated portraits: HD, 10 seconds, 9:16, lyrics topic "road trips with dad", dad as lead.

Dad's photo went into the lead slot, so he carries the verse and gets the tightest lip sync. His daughter is the second performer: she reacts, gestures and backs him up. The topic was four words long, and the AI built an original verse around it.

Be the rapper yourself, with a friend on backup

Usually, an AI rapper means a virtual character with a made-up name and a cartoon face. Here the rapper is you. Your photo becomes the lead performer, the one whose lips follow every word. Each clip is a duet, so a second photo joins you on stage: a partner, a sibling, a roommate or a parent who plays hype man.

You do not need to write a bar, own a microphone or know how to flow. The AI writes a short original verse, voices it over a beat and animates both faces. The examples below show the setup with different leads, and every person in them is AI-generated rather than a real customer.

  • AI-generated selfie of the friend who leads, used as the lead photoAI-generated selfie of the friend on backup

One friend leads, one backs up

Inputs: two selfies from different days, no lyrics topic. Settings: HD, 10 seconds, 9:16, lead on the left.

  • AI-generated portrait of the mother, used as the lead photoAI-generated portrait of her adult son

Mom raps, her son backs her up

Inputs: two portraits. Settings: HD, 10 seconds, 9:16, lyrics topic "mom's Sunday cooking", mom as lead.

How to become an AI rapper in three steps

Have a photo of yourself ready, plus one of the person you want beside you.

  1. Take the lead slot

Put your clearest front-facing photo in the Lead performer slot. Good light and a straight-on face give the most convincing lip sync.

  2. Pick your backup

Add the second person's photo, or use one group shot and drag a frame over each face. Frame 1 is the lead, so place it on yourself.

  3. Choose a theme and go

Add a lyrics topic if you like, check the stage with a free booth photo, then generate. Your clip usually arrives in about 5–10 minutes.

What you can change about your AI rapper

Your face is the star. These settings decide what the verse is about and how the performance looks.

  • Lead or backup

Whoever sits in the lead slot raps the words with the closest lip sync. Want your friend to lead instead? Switch the photos before you generate, and put the lead on the left or the right.

  • Your subject, your attitude

A lyrics topic under 80 characters sets the subject. A note for each performer, like "leans into the mic, eyebrows up", shapes how each of you moves.

  • Sharpness and length

Standard renders up to 720p for 1 credit per second and HD up to 1080p for 2 credits per second. Clips run 5, 8 or 10 seconds, in 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9 at no extra cost.

  • Your stage

Perform in the orange studio under the hanging mic, or use the background from your own photo so it looks like you are rapping at home.

Four ways to use the AI rapper generator

  • An intro for your profile

A 1:1 clip of you rapping a few lines about what you do, for a creator page or a link-in-bio.

  • Good luck before a big day

Wish someone well before a race, a recital or an exam, with you on lead and them in the backup slot, if they are happy to be in it.

  • Parents on the mic

Put Mom or Dad in the lead and let them drop a verse about a family tradition. The example above started from four words.

  • A recurring post

Keep the same lead and change the topic each week, from the weekend plan to the game result, for a series that is easy to make.

What it costs to star as the lead

Booth photos are free, 3 per account, and one that fails is not counted. The video is paid in credits by quality and length: 5 credits for 5 seconds on Standard, 10 credits for 10 seconds on Standard, and 20 credits for 10 seconds in HD. The Duo Pack gives you 40 credits for $9.90, pack credits never expire, and a failed render is refunded on its own. Payment goes through our merchant of record (Waffo Pancake or Creem), which resells the service and handles tax and invoicing. See all packs and monthly plans

AI rapper FAQ

Information checked October 3, 2026.

Can I be the rapper myself?

Yes. Put your photo in the lead slot and the AI animates your face rapping a new verse, with the closest lip sync of the two performers.

Do I need a second person?

Yes. Every clip is a duet, so the studio needs two faces: two separate photos or one photo with both people in it. The second performer backs you up with ad-libs and gestures.

Does it sound like my real voice?

No. The vocal is generated new together with the backing track. It is not modeled on your voice or on any real artist.

Is the AI rapper generator free?

The preview is: each account gets 3 booth photos that show your duo on stage. The video uses credits, from 5 credits for a 5-second Standard clip, and you see the cost before you render.

How long until my video is ready?

About 5–10 minutes in most cases. It also stays in My Videos for 30 days, and paid videos have no watermark.

Can I make someone else the star?

Only with their permission. Both people in a clip need to agree to their photos being used, friends and family included.

Which photo works best for the lead?

A sharp, well-lit, front-facing photo with one face in it. A face that is tiny in a group shot gives a weaker result, so crop tight or use a separate portrait.
